South Lakes High School Class of 2011 Earns Record Scholarships

IT'S OFFICIAL! SUMMER begins today!! Here in Fairfax County - it's also the LAST day of school!

South Lakes High School's Class of 2011 received a total of $4,454,524 in scholarship money this year.

“This is the largest amount of scholarship money awarded to any one graduating class in South Lakes High School’s history,” said Shannon Tully, Director of Student Services, at last week’s Senior Awards Ceremony.

In addition, Tully announced that the graduating class produced 95 International Baccalaureate Diploma Candidates, another record for South Lakes High School.
